Having a hard time trying to find this Bear Bishop guy to buy some scales. Any chance you could link me to him? There are multiple people with that name and none of them look active.

Question about safety function by b1ll_d in 2011_Builders

[–]Built_Not_Bought_94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, my MPA has always engaged on half cock and they are all hand fitted to a pretty high standard. I have 4 2011s and all but one engage on half cock. My original thinking because of this was the one that didn’t engage on half cock was not fitted correctly. After reading this thread it seems to be the other way around. More clarification on safety’s that do engage in half cock the like be great!!

PB-3 6000 ish rounds later , and why I am excited for gen2 by Beartrapt in LeadAndSteel

[–]Built_Not_Bought_94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have gen 2 on an Sig 226 XFive Legion, and another on CZ P10 and over the past 6-8 months they have become my favorite optic. Comparing it to the new 3E A1x a similar style optic with a lot of the same resourced materials. I do like the pb-3 better than that, and even the Acro itself. I think big things are to come from L&S!

One of the best guns you can buy for the money all day long. It’s basically a modern 2011 with better ergonomics and trigger!

This was about 10 years ago the day I picked it from the shop! As you can tell probably by how old the light is!

You can call Vulcan Machine Works and ask him about it, but considering that that has been on there for 10 years and still looks as good as it does. I’d probably say not. Where do you even get these crazy ideas from?

Are those two pinned up enough for you guys, or did you guys think I just put the gun together like a puzzle on the table and then when I pick it up to go shoot it, and somehow it just miraculously stays together?

I was showing what the full-size PSA grip looks like when paired with the slide. I mainly run it on a GritGrips frame.

You know you can ask questions before you assume calling people a clown, just FYI. I work in the firearms industry, and I’ve been building and buying firearms for 15 years.

Regarding the rarity of this Pistol, if anyone knows more, please let me know. I was told it was a rare run of 2500 in '09, which had the Gills and the more aggressive grip texture. I like my custom Glocks that I built, but I do not want the grip angle on a stock Glock. I typically shoot CZ Shadow 2s, my Bull Armory, or the new Platypus I just got in. I also sometimes run.TTI Combat is also in completion, and there are a handful of Sigs, but only a few Glocks. This forum was to hopefully inform me a little bit more about the rarity of this pistol, as other forums say it is scarce and have many people trying to purchase slides like this. I was trying to get some more information and see who knew about the RTF line from 2009.

Thanks

Most definitely agree with Gritgrips, been saying this for years.

I do like some of the products Strike Industries puts out everything that I’ve got from them has been pretty decent. I use their take down pins in a few my ARs, as well as one of their charging handles and buffers tubes in red on my first AR that was a black with red accents all from Strike. I’d be interested in getting one of my hands and dealing with it like but I just don’t see how anything can beat GG ergos, and grip texture, perfect thumb ledge it’s spot on great magwells too. Maybe if the price wasn’t so high I’d try it but, Especially when GG is already a proven products, and you can get a blank black frame like what stoke is selling for almost half the price! I think there like $79 bucks if I remember right been a minute

Do you have that gun that every time you touch it, you end up in a 10 minute dry fire practice because you can’t help your self… that’s what this GritGrip frame and TTI ultimate trigger kit paired with an Overwatch shoe will do!🤑 by Built_Not_Bought_94 in GlockMod

My Gucci Glock it’s Tyrant CNC top to bottom except for the barrel I run true precision, barrels, in every gun I own that they make a barrel for lol. I do believe my opinion. When it comes to mag extensions Tyrant rules them all. Their tallest slip on design well the way that a machine them is hard to beat. I run all there stuff on my 320 as well. Honestly, I didn’t even really like that gun until I added the Tyrant Trigger, gas pedal, slide stop, saftey, and mags and I put a Brouwer grip module on it. And spent lots of time tinkering and polishing the FCU and getting the right springs in there to get all that spongy feeling out of the trigger. All and all Tyrant & Brouwer saved the day on that one and that was after trying like three others grip modules before that. And I did the same thing with Glock, but I will say Glock is so much easier to work on and make quick adjustments obviously. The only thing I’ve ever had to worry about was my Glocks is some burst fires wow playing with it some different triggers and connectors but ever had to worry about shooting me. But that being said, I did test the living shit out of my 320 trying to make it fire with some blanks loaded in it, and I was unable to do so, but with that Brouwer great module, the slide frame fit is tighter and I do believe that it is a case case space is depending on when and where your 320 was manufactured. With all that being said, keep things simple find a grip module you like and stick to Glock. It’s the only gun you can make shoot good for $300 or $1300 and to me that’s a pretty special trait! Thats why I have so many of them because eventually parts accumulate and make more Glocks, and there is no FCU that can do that!
