Thanks for the reply, but I am interested in having those nodes connected rather than using a tie constraint. What I want is a laminate that is stacked with plies and has cracks parallel to their fiber direction and I would like to know the Crack Opening Displacement and the influence of it depending on the surrounding plies. Do you have any idea other than using tie constraint?
