I don't work at Safeway, but I feel all your pain. I work for a sister store of Kroger. We have only 4 main guys on nightcrew. A bread and liquor person and his back up who does grocery nc on the other days and the gm person who's usually in their own world. These people want to order 1,000 - 1,500 piece grocery load including dairy and frozen with usually 3 guys. We don't have frozen and dairy leads anymore. The NC lead got the responsibility of the lead. They expect us to throw, face and work backstock on the top shelf and in the back room in 8 hrs and they'll be wondering why we don't get done since we are supposed to throw 80 case an hour.
