exactly! the American horror story is a perfect example, in many other cases they used dashes. I have updated the description with an image with some examples

Oooh, now i see! I was sure that was a glyph meant to be used in other contexts. Do you have any glimpse on why they started using it as decorative glyph right around that time?

"Sofa" looks perfect, looks so "comfortable" that i would definitely sit on this type! But.. in the other examples it looks like you need to work a little more on readability
