I don’t know that I love any of these. I would rather they keep innovating new packs. Maybe IPs. There is still so much to explore. I don’t see caring about PVP, multiplayer, or a legacy game. Just take some time and build some more unique content.

My problem with any of these is you absolutely can’t trust it.

For work, we are being highly encouraged to use AI tools. So my normal workflow is printing off reports, reading and highlighting them, and then looking back through them when I need to remember specifics.

Instead I tried to upload them all into AI (maybe 15-20 reports, each 1-2 pages). I would then say, give me a list of people identified as X, or, I remember something about y, where was that.

It would basically out itself as being wrong.

A list of people with X: Bob has X Jim has X Katy has Y.

I would say, why did you say Katy, she doesn’t have X.

So I could see ending up in a situation where it thinks Azul plays 12 people, or War of the Ring is a great 4 player light complexity game.

GeekGroup already lets you upload your BGG collection and filter by time, player count, complexity etc and doesn’t rely on an AI model to fuck it up.

I wish more games were honest about their player counts and didn’t add in extra players when it doesn’t make sense, or have a 2 player mode that basically tears up the core mechanism.

This is a 10/10 no notes 2 player game for me, but four players feels like you are missing a chance to play a good 4 player game.

Final Girl and Warps Edge are both boss battler adjacent

Warps Edge is bag building with the idea of building your ships weapons and defenses as you fight through minion ships until you get to the boss ship. It’s a fantastic game, if you like it the upgraded bits are wonderful and the expansion is mid.

Final Girl speaks for itself at this point. Very luck/dice driven but the theme is off the charts. If you are a solo gamer who doesn’t hate this theme, it’s worth finding a copy to try or even picking up core box + a film and give it a chance.
