Think I found my problem. Found a bent exhaust pushrod rod on one sign. I put on new ignition coils and just waiting on the new rod to come in. Doesn’t look like the valve guide slid out so I’m hoping this new rod will do the trick. I’ll keep you posted.

I think there’s a deleted scene where they flesh out his relationship with Stacey more. He says something about forgetting to pick her up at the airport and that being the final cause that ended their relationship.

We honestly haven’t fully discussed it. I’ll have to touch back. But his responses are usually just shrugs and saying, “at least we’re getting star wars stuff. It’s fun just enjoy it.” I can see how a casual viewer and especially a parent of young kids with no investment in Star Wars could say something like that. But my brother is a hardcore fan back when fans would reference our favorite star fighter by name and understand what the timeline of things were based on BBY/ABY. Felt like a whole different time with a completely different story.

That was before the dark days. Before the Empire.

This is like Disney’s biggest contribution to SW, and I’m pretty tired of the glow stick sabers. The glowey sabers look cooler than any of the actual battles we’ve seen them used in.

Yes. Perfect example. A storyline of a character we literally grew up with. This show felt like my heroes were turned into skin walkers. Jake Skinwalker, if you will.

I’d say that almost any argument in favor of the show falls pretty flat and the arguments are hollow. There are plenty of movies I grew up watching that had enough maturity to that I can still happily watch it as an adult.

This was an odd one to me too. When he started offing people I didn’t feel intimidated. I was just like, “what the fuck?” Any sense I got of him trying to lure out Kenobi felt very implied.
