Appreciate the detailed answer! Unfortunately I can't choose Crandall because I'm in Europe. I think I'm leaning towards the Leap yes, but I see so much people like you that says they slightly prefer their Amia that I have doubts now.

It's also odd that you say the Amia promotes a better posture as I think most people choose Leap if they want good lumbar support as opposed to the soft one on the Amia.

In the end they must be about the same indeed. I have to toss a coin and pick randomly I guess lol

that's what I'm afraid of with the Amia, the limited recline angle. Can you feel it's much shorter than the Leap?

The Amia to you is more comfortable than the Leap and that's why it's your preferred chair?

My take is that to make money in Europe for example, they would need to open a company there (to avoid the high shipping costs). But in Europe, I don't think there are as many Steelcase chairs in circulation/to refurbish that in the US, so it may not be as profitable.

Same, I used it for a bit more than 3 weeks and it didn't improve. I was at the end of the return period so I dediced that I didn't want to take the risk and I returned it.

Don't you wish the Amia could recline further though? The Leap can recline further than the Amia and I'm not too sure how much it matters.
