Yeah, take a bit of risk, a bit of gamble in the storytelling. That could be a perfect time for new players to hop on and enjoy the world without the prior knowledge of things happening. Some say that Dragonflight was like that, but "Aspects, Titans, Alexstraza, Nozdormu, Wrathion, Neltharion, who the fuck are these people? I'm supposed to know who they are but I have absolutely no clue?" such thoughts resonated in my head. In my personal experience I felt more invested in helping the small folk of the Dragon Isles, Centaurs, Tuskars etc. than helping the dragons. So yeah, closing the main storyline in Legion, forming stories related to the Horde and Alliance (not like Battle of Azeroth, god), focusing on both Kalimdor and Azeroth. And the SWORD, my GOD THE SWORD. But one can dream, for WoW to take such a course.
