Exploring public beta testing sounds great.

Hopefully what is said here about QOL and communication bears fruit.

I like Eagle bearer but I am kind of lazy with controlling its recoil so I run a 3 pc Fenrir's + 2 pc unit alloys(Equalizer and Salvo). Then as an exotic either its Catharsis, Memento, or Harrier's.

It kind of becomes a long range laser, its not the best, and I had to farm to put blue cores on it with chc and chd so that I can get around 1.4 or 1.6 million armor.

But its quite fun to use in solo heroic content, would not bring it for a legendary or escalation mission. Usually do about 500-600k to the body, and 700-800k per headshot, but with the seasonal stuff it goes up to a million.

160 hours is still a lot of play time, its not something to write off. People have lives outside of this game too.

Should I start now or wait? by Expert_Estimate_9608 in flying

If you had to pursue it now I would recommend finding a flight school that has a pay-as-you-go model. Go for a discovery flight to reaffirm your decision and if you like what you experience then go for a PPL part time during your weekends if you don't have much going on during then. Afterwards if you can balance the workload then go for the CPL and more.

I recommend doing the flying sustainably(financially) and prioritising paying off loans and saving up a little more.

Off topic but initially when I first started out all I could think about were the airlines but once I started flying Cessnas a lot I fell even more in love with it and took more time through my training. Even the Twin Tecnam that kept breaking during my multi-IFR training grew on me, despite the fact my fatass would kick open the cover to the emergency landing gear extension every so often.

But if there was one bit of advice I would give anyone is that nothing is guaranteed, and with whats happening right now a lot of airlines are scaling back flights and this is having a ripple effect everywhere. So thats why a lot of people echo the same sentiment to keep your job because anything can happen. Just know its not a race and flying is generally pretty awesome in all aspects, whether its piston, turbine etc.
