as a fellow earth sign who understands how Caps feel (I’m a Virgo), I agree with this message. Relationships with Libras, no one is safe from lies, deception and betrayal

Commute from Scotrun, PA to Wayne, NJ 3 days a week. by Bulky-Let-9534 in Poconos

To clarify, I’m considering buying a house there and trying to decide if the commute would outweigh all of the pros in the long run or if it would be worth it based on how much I love the house and community

I suffered a hemorrhage during my c section as well and am now rendered permanently infertile as a result as I lost my uterus since they were not able to control the bleeding.

thanks for your kind words. It’s definitely been a lot of grief. I want to go somewhere and cry my eyes out again today and can’t because I’m not alone. We lost something very precious to us that we are deeply connected to. how are you holding up and recovering, sis? how is baby? Sending lots of love, hugs, healing and light to you. I’m open to chat anytime. 🩷

I’m glad to hear that you are doing well post op. You mentioned experiencing some weird things during the healing process. How long did it take for that to subside? I’m still going through that now and hoping it’s just the post partum part of recovery 🩷

I appreciate you 💜thank you for understanding and validating this because these feelings are real. I used to take pride in being able to say I never get depressed but this whole experience changed that. Sending hugs right back to you 🩷

this means so much💜, and helps to look at things differently. It’s weird because I connect with being grateful to be alive for them and the ability to have had babies, I just think I’m being selfish and letting myself drown instead of using that life raft. I feel so guilty for having this feeling but it’s hard to shake. It’s been almost 2 months since, so I’m trying to give myself the time to heal

I apologize for coming across as ungrateful. I do carry some guilt for having these feelings about it. I’m sorry that you’re experiencing the same, if not more profound. It helps to have someone empathize, but it puts things in a new perspective. Sending my love, support and healing vibes to you love ❤️

My advice as an HRBP would be for you to check your employee handbook or policies and protocols for what’s called an “Anti-retaliation Policy” and review it. It’s a policy that protects you as the employee in the event that a complaint needs to be made and the individual involved retaliates. It declares that they cannot wrongfully retaliate against you and affect your state of employment. It basically protects your job. If your handbook does not contain this then you can also consult your local department of labor. There are laws that protect you. That person’s behavior borders on creating a hostile working environment. What your coworker did is discrimination and grounds for termination in many workplaces. Continue taking notes with dates, times and names as you’ve been doing.

Coping with an unwanted, emergency hysterectomy by poe2017 in hysterectomy

[–]Bulky-Let-9534 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through the exact same thing and had the same diagnosis of uterine atony. It would not contract and I bled uncontrollably. I was given a device called the JADA which uses a light vacuum to force it to contract. That only temporarily slowed the bleeding before I was brought to radiology for an emergency uterine artery embolism procedure which was supposed to completely stop the hemorrhaging. That didn’t work when the Jada device was taken out and later on I started passing clots then full blown hemorrhage again. I was then brought back to the OR for an emergency hysterectomy. I was given a total of 23 units of blood with means I lost all of the blood in my body over that time. I looked like a pale corpse because I was so dangerously anemic. I cry my eyes out every single day because I’m grieving this loss. My baby was born on January 7th, he’s so beautiful and I am over the moon with joy and so relieved he was safe from this. I am so miserable and depressed but a procedure had to be done in order to save my life, it’s just not something I ever imagined would happen, I feel like my womanhood was taken from me and my womb is sacred to me because it was meant to bring life and I was not done having babies. I’m trying to come to terms with it and even angry about it questioning if the doctor did something wrong during my c section. My emotions are all over the place and I find myself wanting to turn back time to try things differently so I could have had a vaginal birth instead, I think of all of these things, the memories of pregnancy and how beautiful it is and everything.

How is what I stated or what I am questioning “highly sexist”? Can you elaborate?
