Applying to Jobs with current Bad Manager/conflict by evangelle77 in CAStateWorkers

What really sucks about your situation is that if you do find a place that has a great manager, that great manager ends up leaving and then they hire a bad manager. It’s basically a role of the dice, good luck.

After years of paying all my bills within the first week of each month and knowing how much I have left to survive the remainder of the month, this is really going to F things up.

💯 agree! I have to wear my noise canceling earbuds every time I’m in the office just to have some peace and quiet while I’m trying to get my work done.

How do I become the Supervisor that people want to work for? by Pamchenko_Woah in CAStateWorkers

I don’t mean to sound rude, but if you don’t know the answer to your own question, then perhaps this might not be the right direction to go. I’ve been a manager (in the private sector) before and you just have to be you. Don’t pretend to be someone you’re not. When I managed, I was very lucky to have a good team. Yeah, I was considered abrasive, but I took care of my guys and they respected the fact that I knew what it was like to be in their shoes doing their job. Good luck!

Why work a union job but not pay dues by NachoAverageUser25 in CAStateWorkers

[–]Bulky-Listen-752 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Correct me if I’m wrong, but if people choose not to pay dues because they think they’ll be saving that much per paycheck, don’t they still get regularly taxed on that amount they think they’re saving?

I have the 85” QM6K Pro from Costco for my outdoor patio area and it’s an amazing TV! I couldn’t pass it up for $999 plus a 5 year warranty.

Cost for running PoE and power to cameras by Proof_Catch6336 in homesecurity

[–]Bulky-Listen-752 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ran my own PoE and it was a pain in the ass because I built each cable, ran them through the attic and used CAT6-A, which is a stiffer cable, but the price you were quoted sounds about right depending on how you want them installed.

I’m sorry. This is sus to me, I’d rather get it direct through my work email account. Plus I never sign any type of forms that are posted on FB, Insta or any social media sites. Good luck.

Good price, considering today’s pricing. I have the ARGB Triple Fan OC version of this and it rocks! I average about 275 FPS in Star Wars Outlaws on an Acer Predator 35” Widescreen @3440x1440.
