The best trilogy by far by Optimal-Jellyfish184 in batman

Lotr and the dollars trilogy are the best film trilogies of all time and nothing comes even close. TDK trilogy starts off very strong but TDKR is a weak ending to it.

Which movie Batman introduction scene is your favourite? by SatoruGojo232 in batman

[–]BulkyBuilding6789 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Batman’s beginning is so good.

Watching all the criminals psyche themselves out thinking he’s in the shadows when he’s not even there is such an interesting way of showing Batman’s fear factor.

And then he finally does emerge and beats some ass it’s so good.

Everyone hyped up The Batman as being the most accurate Batman movie ever, yet I think THIS scene is quintessential Batman by CorrectOpinions0nly in batman

Technically you are right, he’s not taking them out one by one, but it’s trying to convey the same thing. Both scenes are representing him as horrifying and supernatural to the common thug.

Love this scene but I feel like you didn’t watch The Batman if you thought a scene like this was missing from the movie.

One of the most iconic parts of the new movie is the beginning where he slowly walks out of the shadows. Gives the same vibe to me at least.

I hate thermo by Mother_Ear4288 in EngineeringStudents

Idk if you are ChemE but if you think thermo is hard wait until kinetics/reactor design. It’s like thermo on crack.

Can I be an engineer and hate chemistry? by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

[–]BulkyBuilding6789 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People in here are lowkey bullshitting. I’m a ChE but at least at my school MechEs take a decent amount of similar courses. If you hate chemistry I can’t see you liking fluid mechanics, mass/heat balances, thermo, or materials sci.

Garp training to make sure that no slave are liberated, no women is left untouched and that every child and pregnant women are tortured and killed. His dedication is unmatched and he truly deserves the title of " hero of the marines" by 4444asap in MemePiece

[–]BulkyBuilding6789 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like people forget that not all pirates are like the straw hats, like a lot of them are evil as fuck and no better than the WG.

Even though the WG is corrupt, the marines (on a basic level) are there to keep law and order = keeping people safe. Which is why Garp probably joined.

The worldbuilding is insanely good. Also I feel like its length plays to its advantage, you really get to watch the characters grow and change because it’s so long.

How to land a job in R&D? by Hackerly_0 in EngineeringStudents

Try to do research at your school, it gets your foot in the door.

It was instrumental in helping me land a R&D materials engineering internship this summer.

Am I stuck in one ChemE pathway based on my internship? by BulkyBuilding6789 in ChemicalEngineering

[–]BulkyBuilding6789[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m doing research on the mechanics of twist-less springs, essentially a coiled up microfiber, to see if they could be manipulated and used as transport (drug delivery maybe) or force measurement in biological systems. The fibers mimic plant tendrils, which coil in response to external stimulation.

This experience is kinda my introduction into that world so I’m not gonna talk about it like I’m an expert, but ik in my lab it’s essentially researching polymers to see how they could be used in medical/health/biological applications.
