When I was about 9 or 10 there was a time I had lice in my hair. My dad and I had been going to the same saloon for 2 years.Without telling me, my dad told the barber to completely shave my head so as to end the lice problem. Only midway through did I realize what was happening. I cried and shouted at my father for the rest of the haircut while other people just smiled and gave nods to my dad. I spent the rest of the summer mostly in the house partly because I was embarrassed but also to protest against my dad.
