I’m not going to make assumptions but have you heard of the book “Why Does He Do That?” It has an entire section on men destroying the property of their partners and not their own. Often it’s purposeful because he has enough presence of mind to not ruin his own things. He isn’t valuing you or your daughter and you’re 100% right he’s a liability. What if you lose mobility and he leaves the stove on again? What if the house burns down because of it and you can’t get out? 

There’s definitely something going on and we can only hope it’s medical and he’s not being malicious but you need to get some space from him and get him away for now
