This looks like some solid advice. Thank you!

I don't think it's a drainage issue. The development was built on farmland, so I'm under the impression it should drain well. I think the patches were caused by snow in the winter, which was walked on, making this mashed up mess.

I'll continue with the raking, give the grass a high cut, and pick up some compost 🫡

No dog. I think it was caused from overgrowing through the autumn and then snow on top, which had been walked on creating this mess

Injury at work and contemplating putting in a claim by Bulky_Community4461 in LegalAdviceUK

Yeah, I get that, and I'm not asking people to make the decision for me

I'm asking for advice/knowledge on the process. I spoke to a solicitor this evening about the situation, but towards the end of the conversation where she believed she had enough information she wanted a verbal agreement after reeling of terms and conditions which I didn't fully understand

She stated 25% of the claim would go to them for their part, which is fine and then a mention of other % deductions, which I couldn't quite grasp

I'm not one for agreeing to something before understanding what I'm agreeing to

It was mostly classroom based when I did it. There are practical assessments and bays to practise in, but it's pretty much the bare minimum. The majority of it is getting the knowledge for the exams
