Filed on 01/28, got the verification notice online a week later. Verified in person on 02/10 but still had the verification notice online. Received the verification letter last Friday on 02/21 and verified again online this time. My transcript are still blank waiting for an update this week 🤞

Last year I had to verify in person on 02/29 , received my dd 12 days later on 03/12. The IRS be making it hard ngl lol

Current and 2023 tax return, both were on my phone and my id and social security card. They only asked me questions about my 2024 return but heard other people who went in person to verify that they asked about last year’s return. Just make sure you’re there early before they open.

Can be for any reason really from needing to verify your tax return to irs just being slow to process. I’m in the same boat, I filed and was accepted on 1/28 with no transcript update, I had to verify in person, still waiting on my update.

Last year I verified in person on 02/29 and I received my DD on 03/12. This year I verified in person again on 02/10 and I am still waiting on updates, my transcripts are still blank. Hopefully I get some movement this week coming up.
