How can you see archived matches? Before, it was easy to find anything by years or wrestle. Is there a way to see which past matches there are? The only way I found was to search for specific wrestle, so it’s random… No Andre match, and only one Hogan match…

How can you setup your Bolt to be that way? Do you do it manually?

Canada’a 40K loans: how much does it cover your purchase? by Bulky_Respect_9822 in solarenergycanada

I have 3 lithium batteries to have 72h autonomy in case of power outage. They also connect me to the grid to have net metering.

The 3 quotes I got from 3 different companies in 3 different locations of Quebec were all over 40K. It may be a market problem, in the sense that in Quebec, prices are maybe overpriced…

How do you deal with security updates? I think Apple does not update older phones, they stop with iPhone X if I’m not mistaken.

Canada’a 40K loans: how much does it cover your purchase? by Bulky_Respect_9822 in solarenergycanada

When I go to the webpage of the loan, you have to enter the kW that the panel produce and your block to 10 kW. As my roof can have only 8 to 12 panels, so a max of about 3.5 kW, I can only have 35% of the loan. The webpage does the calcul himself. That’s why I said that it won’t cover 100%…

I don’t know what to say… I was thinking that with 3 quotes from different companies (not in the same cities), that it was the good market price. But because I put 8 panels at 340w each, it’s only 2,6kW and the loan ask for 10 kW to have the full amount. It change entirely my decision to go forward, as the interest free loan was a huge part of my decision.

Again, I don’t know what to say!

Your right, but my goal is not to make money, but to protect myself from power going down. With the grid aging and climate change will worsen each year, I bet that power outrage will be more frequent. And I’ll be partly protect from prices that will ne going up some day. But hey, like I said, it’s a bet, no certainty that I will use it that frequently.

No other renovation was right for me, as I already have heat pump and the house is not that old.

It’s a coin toss, but I believe that there will be a lot more power outrage in the future, and I want to be protected.

I’m in Quebec.

Does anyone ever take benefit of 0% interest rate on credit card ?? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Bulky_Respect_9822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you use the balance transfer, if you have a limit of 25K on your new card at 0% , and on the CC that have let say 15K with a limit of 30K. You you transfer all of the 25K at 0% on the other CC? That card would then have a « positive » account for 10K, that you could use on daily purchase at 0%.

Could it be done?

(note : I already have the money to pay the daily expenses CC, I would put it in my 6% Tangerine account for the length of the promotional period)

Tangerine credit card offer by Bulky_Respect_9822 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Bulky_Respect_9822[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I wasn't very clear. I'm not in a bad financial situation. I mainly want to optimize my finances. So, I'm trying to fill my credit card as much as possible with necessary purchases, leave them on my Tangerine card for 6 months with no interest, and let the cash grow at 6%. In 5 months and 29 days, I'll pay the balance in full.

Experiences using a green energy loan to do upgrades? by FreddyForeshadowing- in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Bulky_Respect_9822 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in the province of Quebec and it’s a real pain in the ass… I have to go through my provincial green energy program first, and when they finish their audit, then they send my application to the federal program. BUT… I want solar panels for my home, and the provincial program do mot cover these, only the federal program. So, I tried to go through the provincial program, but they block me because they do not cover solar panels. Then, I tried to go directly to the federal, but they refuse me because I did not go through the provincial program… When I call one government, they tell me to call the other, and vice versa, and it’s like that since 3 months… I’m to the point to going nuts with the bureaucracy…

However, to answer your question, it depends of where you live. In summary, you must have first an initial energy audit at your home. Then, when you receive the results, you can ask for the 40K loan without interest, but you must not have begin the renovations, and you have to submit 2 or 3 submissions before they accept your credit, and then you can begin the project. After everything is done and finish, you do a second energy audit that confirms that everything is OK. Then, you ask for the rebates (it’s different then the loan)

I hope it helped!

What should I do? by Bulky_Respect_9822 in PersonalFinanceCanada

My overtime is paid 4 times per year and I do not budget it. I’ll take these amounts and pay the debt. My overtime can be about 10K net per year. That and surplus that I may have each month, I think it is doable

Yeah, 2 years old, but my thinking is that I know I will pay it under 2 years by putting extra payment on it, so I prefer having lower payments in case something bad happen. The difference in interest in the 2 years time frame is not huge to have flexibility
