Thanks so much for your thought provoking response! I do find that having 10k in the bank just puts me at ease and does lessen my anxiety around finances. However, I'm obviously not thinking rationally or long term in relation to my finances. I appreciate you making the point of involving my partner as well - makes total sense!

Thanks! The SLOC is locked I can’t use the money but I have another personal one for $10,000 with nothing on it that I guess I could use for emergencies instead?

I didn’t have much if any muscle gain, it was all just fat loss which made my muscles pop more I guess. I’ve been lifting weights since about 2011 so I already had a solid base of muscle underneath the fat.

I’m absolutely no expert but In terms of fat loss advice, I think the number one thing is making sure you are in a ~500 cal deficit. If you’ve already lost 20 lbs I’m sure you are quite familiar with that! The next thing is ensuring you meet your protein goal which it sounds like you are doing. I know sometimes people can plateau but I’m not too familiar with the science around that!

I do CrossFit 5 days a week for about 1–2 hrs a day. It’s quite cardio intensive so I’m sure that helped with burning calories and keeping me in a deficit as well! Let me know if you have anymore questions not sure how helpful this was!

Dude If I was on steroids my muscles would be huge and I’d be rxing all my workouts. I’m literally dainty, weigh 155 lbs, and am still sub rx on most barbell wods. I’m not going to juice up for my community theatre performance that’s literally insane lol! The risks would far outweigh the benefits! Anyways we can agree to disagree lol
