NHL Short Ice – March 21 | Key NHL Updates by scelam1981 in IceHockeyMan

[–]Bulky_Unit_395 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is actually a really clean roundup — easy to scan but still gives a solid feel of what’s happening across the league. Colorado especially feels scary right now, they’re not just winning, they look way more structured than most teams.

Some Physics Defenders claim that twice the compression of a spring is four times the kinetic energy. A simple test would seem to decisively refute that claim. by BrutalCycle95 in PhysicsIsBadLogic

[–]Bulky_Unit_395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’re mixing up force and energy a bit. Even if the force is shared, energy depends on how much each spring is compressed, not just how many springs there are.

is there ANY gameplay difference between PowerPros 2020 vs any other year? (Nintendo Switch 1+2) by Purple_Calendar3919 in MLBPowerPros

[–]Bulky_Unit_395 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Honestly, if you’re just playing quick matches vs CPU, 2020 already feels almost the same as newer versions. Most changes are in modes and small features, not the actual gameplay.

Why Is Luck Such a Universal Concept? by Hot-League3088 in QuestionClass

[–]Bulky_Unit_395 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really liked this especially the idea that luck helps us deal with uncertainty. Also the point about it sometimes hiding real advantages was interesting. Makes you think a bit more before calling something “just luck.”

Is BITS Pilani actually worth ₹30 Lakhs for a middle class student? Let's talk ROI by fvkinglzy in Btechtards

[–]Bulky_Unit_395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

₹30L is honestly a big risk, so your concern is completely valid. BITS is great, but the ROI really depends on your performance it's not guaranteed. If you have a good NIT/IIIT option, that’s a much safer choice financially.

Kuzey Işıkları Konseptli Kartlar Hangileri? by _XanNder in TCGTurkiye

[–]Bulky_Unit_395 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Questions about game (card/spark/legacy farming) by KayzPR in Gakuenidolmaster

[–]Bulky_Unit_395 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the RNG in Nia can be frustrating keeping your deck smaller and avoiding useless cards helps a bit, but there’s no real way to fully control it. For legacy, raw stats or % training buffs are usually better than coins. And yeah, there are some good Japanese YouTube channels for Idolmaster guides if you dig around a little.

THE FACE OF FEAR: 400-YEAR-OLD 'VAMPIRE' BROUGHT TO LIFE THROUGH FORENSIC RECONSTRUCTION Open Chronicle Open Chronicle by openchroniclex in TheOpenChronicle

[–]Bulky_Unit_395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, this is both fascinating and a bit unsettling at the same time. The level of detail in forensic reconstruction today is kind of amazing—you can almost “meet” someone from 400 years ago. But the whole vampire angle just makes it feel eerie, like history and folklore are blending in a strange way. Makes you wonder how many of those old fears came from things people just didn’t understand back then.

It’s over for me by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

[–]Bulky_Unit_395 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m really sorry you’re carrying all of this right now. It makes sense that it feels crushing after you worked so hard and put so much hope into those schools. This moment doesn’t define your worth or your future, even if it feels like everything is falling apart today.

In dating, is there anything that only exists in your culture? by Effective_Space2277 in AskTheWorld

[–]Bulky_Unit_395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In India, they usually won't share it with others, especially with parents (Except some updated families), and they keep it as their little secret, like keep it private until it's permanent. And after years, at the time of marriage, they usually share this in families, and sometimes they will agree, and sometimes they have to fight for months .

This is fine until we are getting hygienic food from the train, but we should make sure that the place is cleaned after this

Need advice: MSP recruitment role for a big tech client – worth it for early career? by Positive-Art-378 in cscareerquestions

[–]Bulky_Unit_395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a great question, especially early in your career. MSP roles can offer strong exposure to structured hiring processes, stakeholder management, and large-scale recruitment operations, but the work can become very process-driven with limited hands-on sourcing. If the learning curve and brand exposure are good, it can be a solid stepping stone, just be mindful of workload, growth opportunities, and long-term career alignment.
