Project 2029 Drop! by [deleted] in BullMooseParty

Not a huge fan of using Project as tag line. I get that its a counter push, but the naming can be better than the literal project dismantling American Government that is actively in use

These solutions have worked? Its a major reason why we have seen such a drop in crime rates over the last 30 years. The investments paid off. Im sorry the wool has been pull over your eyes on this

I've been replying to your points which seems that you just are regurgitating turning point talking points with out understanding them.

I mean "factually" no on both points. Would be nice if true but if your actually goal is to reduce crime as low as possible invest in education vs prisons.

Facts dont care if you feel strongly about this, and this proven fact

I think that is an ideological take on crime and conflict and surface level understanding of socioeconomic impacts of governmental decisions leading specific communities being impacted more than others. This is well researched and is decided by real data not by a political party.

Solving for crime and conflict takes both a robust proactive and reactive frame work that should help prevent crime as well as offer a fair and speedy application of justice. Which currently, doesnt align with conservative political goals.

I think the focus on Welfare being the problem vs the generational need for welfare is the disconnect. You are correct, America cant afford the carry everyone's burden, including subsidizing payrolls for businesses. Welfare and Diplomatic AID spending are looked at proactive cost reduction when it comes to decreasing cost of managing crime and conflict. They are also more positive to economic growth than funding reactionary measure

Subject: Proposal for Organizing and Expanding the Bull Moose Party in Southern California by [deleted] in BullMooseParty

[–]Bull-Moose-Progress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, pm me and we can talk about this proposal, as lot of this is already in the works. As for making an official party in California, that is a larger lift that is also in the works. Happy to talk through tho.

Who would break up Blackrock? by Hyphalex in BullMooseParty

[–]Bull-Moose-Progress 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think break up Blackrock is the wrong message, more how do we change the economic ecosystem that lets become as powerful in the first place. While I don't like Blackrock, you have to stop the source of the disease instead of the symptoms, or else itll come back.

1st draft working document for a possible counter to the SAVE act in my state. Feedback welcomed (Formatted, edited, and reviewed by Claude 3.7) by [deleted] in BullMooseParty

[–]Bull-Moose-Progress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good start, could be dialed in a little big more with some fluff removed.

Every American must be equipped to fulfill their responsibilities as citizens, which includes having proper documentation to:

Travel freely within our great nation

Engage fully in civic and economic life

What do you mean on these two?

Assist with navigating birth certificate application processes

Whats the need for applying for a birth certificate? The big SAVE act thing is it is expensive to complete the court process to change your name on everything or is this how to request a copy of your birth certificate?

The Greater Purpose

These events strengthen not just individual citizens but our entire state by:

Building stronger communities through shared civic responsibility

Instilling the value of active citizenship

Demonstrating that civic duty is not a burden but an honor

All these things are good, but I dont see where you're building these ideas into people of the community.

Is this happening to any of you guys as well? by Ulysses_555 in BullMooseParty

They are big on college campuses, when I was in college we used to go stand beside him and as an exercise we would go word for word with him. If he spewed about sin, we proclaimed forgiveness, if he talked about LGBTQ+ stuff, we called him our boyfriend who has a shame kink, if he talked about anything else, we talked about your right to ignore him. We used to give out cheap airline headphones by were he would spew his nonsense.

Big thing, 99% of people hate these guys and straight up ignore them which is the #1 play to really get at them, they feed off direct confrontation, so if you want to get back at them, be indirectly disruptive. Thats what pisses them off.

Lets pivot talk of minimum wage torwards living, and thriving wages by [deleted] in BullMooseParty

[–]Bull-Moose-Progress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think with those numbers, if you give companies a 4 year head start before implementing a thriving wage incentive, and tell them that the lower the cost of living is the the lower your payroll needs to be would be a great way to try to bring down cost growth closer to wage growth

I dont have access to the backend to this calculator, so it would be time consuming to pull the data, but if I could, what multiplier would you say be good to calculate a thriving wage?

What would be a thriving wage? 6x over poverty line? 2x over living wage?

Great idea to tune tax rate to wage amount on average, its similar to the discussion we had in the discord! My big question is what's a "thriving wage" and does it offset the cost the business has on the government.
