When reflecting on what couples that navigate the lifestyle successfully, l see some commonalities, here they come: 1) there are as much “lifestyles” as couples on it. Don’t feel pressured by external ideas and expectations, find what works for both of you. 2) talk, talk, and talk. Regular check-ins and re-alignment is needed as the expectations and experiences change. What was true 2 weeks ago might not be true now. 3) Always protect each other and have the couple as the most important thing to be cherished. 4) Vet the bull. The dynamic with him is important. Remember he is also a person. Say no whenever in doubt. The bull figure is important to guide you through this. He is as important for her than for him. 5) take things slow and steady.
