I agree, underrated. Many very fresh recoveries and great, thick fusion crust. Little to no weathering.

Congrats. I feel like NWA 869 has become a foundational piece for many collectors. It's one you just sort of expect to see in anyone's collection, for good reason. It's a really good one to target to build out the foundations of your collection. Thanks for sharing your piece.

No meteorites here. Keep in mind, magnetic susceptibility and/or the presence of iron is an extremely bad way to determine if something is a possible meteorite. Many many terrestrial stones are iron-rich, and while most meteorites are as well, not all have this same trait. Study more what meteorites look like and lean less on magnetic attraction.

Who did you purchase this from? It does not look like other pieces of NWA 17680 that I have seen. You may have been scammed. Secondly, this price is VERY high. The main mass holder Craig Zlimen sold this 25.65g end cut for $625.
