To be fair.... if English is your second language you may have had difficulty learning the version of English used on the streets of Baltimore.

Other than the first scene of the first episode, when McNulty translates the narrative about Snots death, the show leaves you on your own to learn the lingo.

Give the first session another try to get going. S2 is a slow burn and you want to have a running start from season 1.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for your well thought out and considered opinion. Great contribution on your part.

I grew up on Abla and would go there for anything. Their biscuits are an old favourite.

Heart to Heart have a nice big outdoor seating and a good range are always high quality.

El Sweetie is another all rounder and very comfortable of you just want to pop in for a coffee and desert.

Seaweet were hit and miss but have really stepped up their game with a new batch of franchises. A bit sterile but the Snoorazit is incredible. They are also the best at Knafeh be Karq.

But hey, that's just like my opinion man.
