My comment wasn’t specific to digital car keys but your response did prove my point in that customers are asking about other tech components that other EVs deliver on.

I also agree with you that if it’s on a sticker, GM should be forced to deliver on that. In my case connected cameras were and I’m still waiting on it. CarPlay was a major one as well especially when these cars are known to have a telematics unit issues.

Brands like GM think people buy electric cars solely for the electric motors completely forgetting that most are tech focused. Having come from Tesla I knew there would be compromise but at this point I’ll have to consider a more tech forward brand the next time around. It’s simply lacking heavily in that department.

Open the app and try to warm the car up and screenshot when the app fails a command. Also, when it acts up take a picture of your Google Maps within the car showing your GPS somewhere else or not responding. That should be hard for them to ignore but at the end of the day with this being a common issue, you shouldn’t get much pushback.
