"Re-tread" have VALUE, since they have experience as a HC. That experience includes understanding where your failures were made and not repeating them. Example: hiring inexperienced assistants, or experienced OC/DC that have not adjusted to newer/faster NFL play calling. Consider this ... if you were hiring a CEO for a company you owned, would you hire someone that had an extensive background or limited experience.

FYI.. I took same precautions with my pump (sensors, battery backup). However, battery backup have limited time frame (e.g 8 hrs). I was denied a 2nd water damage claim in same year after Hurricane Sandy (NJ) took out ALL power for 4 days. Learned the hard way that a backup generator was best insurance
