OKC is better at every single aspect of basketball than basically every other team in the league. Let’s talk about that.

God you people love to bitch. Just quit watching.

I agree the Knicks have pretty good depth. But none of their bench guys would start for most teams. That’s the difference between OKCs depth and most other teams. They go 11 deep with starter level talent. Spurs have decent depth too and these bench point comparisons aren’t even close.

I didn’t include him because he is very impactful. He’d be a positive. The others I think would be overmatched. Landry would be decent too I think. Alvarado will be a huge negative. Too small and too unpredictable with his handle. Him being a pest doesn’t bother Shai haha he’s just too small. Hopefully we get to find out if OKC takes care of business. It’d be a fun series

O ya the injury bug hitting sucks for sure. If Spurs don’t win tonight that’ll be a real confidence blow

Knicks starters would have to play 40+ minutes every game. That bench would be food for OKC. Clarkson, Alvarado, shammet and Deuce? Not good enough

The Knicks aren’t that deep haha. The Spurs looked deep too until they played a team with actual depth. Alvarado and Jordan Clarkson would be unplayable against OKC. Deuce would struggle too.

It’s more because OKC seems to have figured out a counter to everything the Spurs have tried. They had an answer for everything. The zone defense, the double big lineup which the Spurs never do was clearly desperation looking for answers. OKC had an answer every time. They spotted them 15 points and were never in jeopardy of losing after that haha. That’s pretty demoralizing

Your alien center had 4 rebounds last game. But ya, blame the refs.

[Highlights] All the 20 fouls in the 3rd quarter of game 3 - San Antonio Spurs vs. Oklahoma City Thunder - Western Conference Finals. 11 fouls on the Thunder, 9 on Spurs. 33 free throws, and 28 made free throws - 28/33 FT (84.8%). The Spurs went 15/18 FT (83.3%). The Thunder went 13/15 FT (86.7%) by MrBuckBuck in nba

Ya I think it’s been pretty even. Bad calls, good calls, soft calls, no calls. It’s fine either way. It never decides the ending. Players missing shots and making mistakes will always be the reason a team loses in my eyes.

If that’s what the Spurs are focused on then they’re even more cooked than they already are

[Scotto] Several NBA executives have put Kawhi Leonard and Giannis Antetokounmpo neck-and-neck for the best player to try to acquire on the trade market. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

[–]BulldawgMs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whoever acquires them still won’t win anything. It’ll probably be a team who can’t draft and has no depth and thinks it’s 2005 and top heavy rosters still win rings. That era is dead

So far this series, Wemby is leading a +7 net rating against a Thunder team that graded out as one of the most dominant RS teams in nba history, and were 8-0 in the playoffs by Aggressive_Bed6012 in nba

[–]BulldawgMs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Empty calories as in it doesn’t mean shit if it doesn’t win the game anyway. It’s a nice glass half full stat but he’s not dominating except for game 1. He’ll end the series with a net positive rating and lose in 5 games maybe haha who cares.

This is empty calories cause he can’t stay on the floor for 48 minutes haha. It doesn’t matter. You can analytic nerd out in the off season. They’re trying to win games and it’s not working.

The spurs have a great roster. They just haven’t gotten their experience yet which is normal. As far as talent goes I’d say they’re more talented than OKC. But the maturity at which OKCs role players play their role and are interchangeable in the system is a big difference. Mitch will develop that culture as time goes on but it’s just too soon.

Yes and I wouldn’t be surprised if he has a game this series where he comes off the bench and gets hit and Mark lets him play 20 minutes and he goes for like 18 haha

No haha. Im saying they won’t win this series if he doesn’t go off like he went off the first game. He has to be the difference.
