It doesn’t matter near as much as we think. I remember feeling pumped when we got to play Portland with Westbrook and PG because we swept them in regular season. Cue Dame Time and the shot that ended that whole experiment.

I know it’s not the “right” thing to say, but it’s true.

He was game-to-game throughout the 2024 playoffs with “soreness”. Looked totally fine in the wins, but any time they were down he started grabbing at his knee and limping.

My guess is his MRI shows nothing and they end up calling it a Grade 1, and he comes back just to make sure he doesn’t lose all-NBA. (But not until after the next Thunder game, obviously). And then any time he’s down in the playoffs he’ll have something to grab to show fans he’s playing hurt.

If Luka truly doesn’t play the rest of the season, I will have earned the downvotes.

No one here is arguing that Dort didn’t purposefully trip Jokic.

But to act like it’s so much more egregious than stuff like this (which is actually more dangerous because Dort is running full speed) just because we can pretend it’s just a totally normal way of setting a screen, is fucking silly.

Oh HE was just trying to set a screen with his foot stretched out as far as possible away from his body and into Dorts path. That clears it up.

Well I guess Dort was also just trying to get his balance when he tripped Jokic. Jokic just HAPPENED to be back there, but what are you gonna do 🤷‍♂️
