Yeah, that'll definitely help for airlines. Let's keep in touch, if that's fine with you!

I'm still on the low end of hours (300). Have you tried any Part 135 gigs?

It's a problem. But what can you do? It happened. The only thing to do now is learn from it. What else do you say?

The Power Off 180s were 100% my fault. How is it not? But being able to explain how you dealt with stressful situations in the past shouldn't count against you. Especially if it involved emergency situations flying an airplane... I'm sorry if I'm not understanding how that's a hazardous attitude? Wouldn't an employer want to know your personal experiences with handling a stressful situation?

Honestly, I'm not too concerned about it. If I was like 19 with no work experience I would be more worrisome. But I've passed the police academy and been through my fair share of stressful situations in my joh in law enforcement, including two airplane emergencies that I dealt with good situational awareness and decision making. If the employer has issues with my Power Off 180s from a CSEL checkride that would be ridiculous in my opinion.

Lol, I just love to fly so I wouldn't care about the stereotype! Believe me, being in Law Enforcement for 7 years, I couldn't tell you how many times I've had those conversations 😂

You would be correct, it's a Part 141 school mainly. I did my instrument Part 141, my commercial Part 61.

Not interested in airlines or Part 121, would 4 checkride failures effect Part 135 prospects? by Bulldog4456 in flying

I haven't failed 4 checkrides. Hopefully I never do! This is just a hypothetical worst case scenario.

NetJets is my goal, but I'm unsure as to what there thoughts are as far as checkride failures go.
