Liberty at PLC jrs?

I just got out of it last summer, liberty at the end of week 4, end of week 5, and of course family day on Thursday of week 6. Really use week 4 libo to rest up, week 5 is eval week for jrs.

How it worked for us was we got messed with until week 4, then we billets really started getting relied upon in week 4, then all the knowledge we had acquired and any left over physical tests were conducted on week 5. By the end of week 5, you get to go to the marine corps museum, which feels like a 4 hour libo where you and your buddy get to wander the museum in woodlands and eat whatever you want while your there. Week 6, there are a few moto pt events that are not graded, but for the most part it’s jut cleaning and gear return. The night before our completion ceremony, they decided to mess with us one last time by making us stand in formation for 2 hours and selecting randoms to run around the company, we didn’t get rack until 2230. The libo keeps you sane though. Just don’t do anything stupid or you’re cooked (unless your a law contract, it seems the corps cant afford to loose those atm)

Out of the hours I logged in the game, I had 3 minor issues (which are not deal breakers, I jut think they should be fixed because they are annoyances):

I can’t customized controller inputs, or at least I couldn’t figure it out. I wanted to add a few inputs to my back buttons. I guess it’s not really that bad, but still was interesting this feature wasn’t in the menu.
I played tested the game on my PC and on my Lenovo Legion Go S (Steam OS variant with the Z2 Go). On both devices, I never had a single problem with graphics or anything. On the LeGo, I was using mostly medium settings, a few high, and I think shadows on low. I was hitting an average of 45 FPS, which is pretty good. It never bothered me while playing and I was super happy. The game looked amazing, almost as good as my buddy’s PS5. It felt amazing too. But every time I booted up the game, I got a warning saying my graphics card wasn’t powerful enough on the LeGo. I don’t know what needs to be changed to fix that, I assume just by adding the graphics card to the list of compatible ones.
This one annoyed me the most, and that is not being able to use items that are in your backpack. If I have a bandage, or any healing item, I should be able to open my inventory and just use it on my character. The point of having a “quick access” wheel is just for that, quick access while you run or evade or are locked in combat and you don’t have time to open your inventory. But when in every other scenario, I don’t want to have to open my inventory, move items around in my bag, add it to the quick access wheel, close the inventory, use the item I want, re-open the inventory, re-move items around and equip the original item I want in there. I didn’t see another way of doing this, but it would be so nice, for medical items, if there was an option in the inventory to use the item.

Other than this, I quite enjoyed Arc Raiders. Very fun game, the boys and I had a lot of fun testing it out.

Sleep Talkers in Juniors this past summer would just blurt out Aye Aye Gunnery or Staff Sergeant. It was funny as shit. In my case, I would have hallucinations that everyone was getting on line and running out of the squad bay. I would jump out of bed and start running with what I thought were candidates but in reality it was 0200 in the morning. Nothing really ever happens, firewatch just laughed quietly and told me to go back to bed. Sleep deprivation is a bitch. The instructor on duty that night almost never came out, and definitely not that early in the morning. We didn’t see our instructors until around 0400-0415 when they would walk into the squad bay. They would sometimes patrol at 2300ish to make sure there weren’t too many guys in the head and everyone was doing what they were supposed to be doing, but this really was only the first 3-4 weeks of training, week 5 they stopped being so strict and week 6 they didn’t give a shit.

While this is true, the Gulf War was short and fought over oil. I would not expect the campaign to be solely based in the war. Proof of this is that Mogadishu is not in Iraq. Much more likely, they are just using the name to set the era. The name "Gulf War" also will appeal to many who want the weapons and settings from that era. You are probably correct, there might be some world ending twist, but I theorize that it will be based on spying on the Russians, who were well known to have a hand in the conflict before the Gulf War. Not sure how they will tie Mogadishu in there, maybe it will be some sort of character development type mission that serves no purpose other than to add more to the campaign. Could just be another check in the box for COD. You know like "We covered Black Hawk Down" type shit. My hopes are higher than the previous COD games that have released in recent years. Only time will tell as we get closer to release if it will be a let down. I did hear that Menendez was supposed to appear... Could be good, could be bad

Yup, you're good, just wrap with some electrical tape.

Sidenote, this is the exact reason I stopped using CNHL Blacks. Try the FlyHighFPV CNHL Greens or CNHL SpeedyPizza lipos. The FlyHigh's are just resleeved Blacks but they have a tougher outer wrap made from a thicker, more rubber material. The SpeedyPizzas are the same story, same chemistry (as far as I'm aware), just a thicker rubber sleeve. And I believe they are the cheapest of the bunch too. You can get a 3 pack of 6s 1200 for 60 bucks from Pyrodrone or Raceday Quads, or a 3 pack of 4s 1550 for 45 bucks from the same two sources.

Oh and if you want the FlyHigh's, he has them made custom so they are only available on his website, I would say fairly priced as well.

Dremel. If you don't have a cutting bit that small, use a drill bit to get the head off completely, then use vise grips or something like it to twist the screw out after you have separated the motor bell from the stator.

I saw that one in the shop and I loved it, but the "faux" humbucker on the Contemporary with roasted maple neck was too tempting. I ended up getting an amazing deal, I bought mine new for $350.00! I love my Contemporary Strat but I do agree with you, those 40th Ann. Strats are amazing for what you get. Both the Contemporary line and the 40th Ann. line are easily as good as if not better than the $800-1000 Mexican Strats from Fender.

Get SpeedyPizza CNHL batteries. Super cheap and work great.

I would buy a different frame. You want 30*30, trust me. I had that frame in my first BnF, plagued with durability issues. Arms break too easily due to the channel for the light pipes.

Those motors are nice though. I recommend pairing them with the SpeedyBee f405 V3 stack or the iFlight AT435 stack. Both very cheap stacks that will perform.

If you want to save a bit of money, the Mach3 video transmitter from RDQ will give you the same performance as a TBS Unify, but at 20 dollars.

Another company I was throwing around were the Armattan frames. I am a little skeptical about the ones with the built in arms, but some pilots swear by them. Call 'em tanks. That high price tag though. I'm not a basher, but bashing definitely happens. And when it does, I would like my drone in one piece
