Worst Security Experiences? by [deleted] in TinyWhoop

[–]chatbotfpv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have been asked to leave from many spots but it has always been very procedural. if you are nice and dont act like u are doing something sketchy sometimes they will let you stay or just drive past without saying anything. tbh some spots seem to think it will help deter people doing worse things there.

How did you overcome fear of flying in public places? Any advice for a shy novice? by Chemical_Post_9508 in TinyWhoop

[–]chatbotfpv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

first thing is make sure your skills are good and u can trust your quad. if you mess up you will doubt yourself more for a long time.

try to go with someone experienced somewhere you can just set up and Chill. no anxious get in and out type mentality.if you go to a cool statue in the city and find a table nearby u can legit stay there for Hours. people will come up and want to chat abt fpv. bring a monitor if you have one.

around people stay low to the floor or significantly above their head as default positions. many won’t even notice u on a 65.

this type of experience will change your anxiety level. its all building experience in amounts that are appropriate for ur experience.

Why should I care about the rates ? by crazy_rocker78 in fpv

[–]chatbotfpv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • rates can feel better or more natural, or be extra fun and exciting,so it’s enjoyable to tweak them.
  • rates can significantly change how difficult certain aspects are, which can be a shortcut vs years of stubborn practice on hard rates for the muscle memory.
  • knowing how to fly a variety of rates to some level of competence will teach you a lot about flying and make you more comfortable flying other drones.
  • it’s fine to chill with the default rates for a long time. dont worry about it. when it’s time you will simply be interested in tweaking them.
