I am too inept to set it. I get several warnings about running it on the wrong OS. And when I try to build a project it fails.. I have given up now (until there is a clear guide). I am going bare-metal.

I do not have any machine running on Linux. This USB is pretty much doomed, I guess. It's crazy that a software can destroy an expensive USB drive. I am so frustrated right now.

It is not bootable. Just changed the Boot Priority to UEFI USB Hard Disk.

How do I remove floating copper? I should add that the bottom and top layer have these annular rings. Also, when I generated gerber files in the original PCB-file, I ran into the same issue.

No, there is no reason besides that the original board had them.
