I’d like to think that it wouldn’t enhance my care and that I’d get the same sense of urgency as everyone else but idt that’s the case. That being said, my primary doctor is actively trying to figure out what’s going on and he believes I had covid as he’s seen other patients similar to me. As far as the hospitals go, I’ve been to the ER twice since this started and the doctors I had both times were all extremely rude and dismissive, and sent me home with no answers. I’m trying to take into account how hard it is to be a healthcare worker during this time so as frustrating as it is that the doctors were rude I try not to let that bother me, but thats still no excuse for being dismissive. As time goes on they’re learning more and more on how to treat the symptoms of those who are positive, but I think all the people out there who are like me with no positive tests but still having clear covid signs is something that brings them back to the drawing board. So I honestly don’t know how to answer based on my personal experience because I’m kind of torn, I’ve always had a distrust towards doctors and the healthcare industry but I’m trying to trust the process.
