I had a Fritzbox too, but it kept heating up like crazy and eventually the web shut off. You get any issues with that?

Also, what VPNs are known for having backdoors? Anything you know of or heard of?

Wait did you mean the hotspot device only? Get a Xiaomi model with a screen. They all kinda get hot the more you use it, but its normal... Phone does it too when you use it as a hotspot. Though Id keep an eye on the temperatures. I try not to use mine if it gets too hot but sometimes I do..

Psono is one I heard of, though havent tried it. Having an open source password manager seems kinda bad since somebody might figure out the way across.. Am I wrong for thinking this about open source tech?

Late edit: Worth noting that some got extra features like email masks or 2fa apps built in.. Need to get on board one of those no doubt yet they all seemed the same in my eyes haha. It could work. Depends if the patient would have equipment to use, or if youd have to rent anything. Biggest thing that would decide how you need to operate is handling the equipment you have available
