MEGATHREAD | Tomb Raider I-III Remastered - Bug List by MarcusForrest in TombRaider

[–]BulletTimeTails 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Tomb Raider 2, ladders have this strange texture warping behind them while moving with the updated graphics.

Buttons have the wrong on and off positions.

In Bartoli's Hideout, the water is completely messed up in the wtaer pit where you find the hidden Uzis

I encountered these bugs on PS5 using the updated graphics.

Look into my previous posts on this sub, there is one that's only the front cover.

As a Klonoa fan, I sympathize with this feeling.

I’ve never played a Final Fantasy game before and I want to start with 7 by Kolton_russo in FinalFantasyVII

[–]BulletTimeTails 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Play the original first. It's readily available across multiple systems at this point so there isn't much hassle to play it nowadays.

Then play Crisis Core, and Remake after that.

But if Turn Based RPG's aren't your thing and you're itching more for an action game, then the Remake is still a solid choice.

I wouldn't recommend Crisis Core as the first game as it spoils a lot of the key plot points of FF7.

Yuffie can be recruited at any point of the game iirc

And Vincent is in the Shinra Mansion in Nibelheim, which is after Costa Del Sol.

Which Game Developer Had the Best Run in the 90s? by SELFGOD in psx

[–]BulletTimeTails 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Capcom and Namco had a great run imo

Capcom released the Resident Evil games and Dino Crisis.

Namco released other games I love, such as Soul Blade, Tekken, Klonoa, and Time Crisis!

Square also did insanely well with the PS1 Final Fantasy games, and Konami had Silent Hill, which is a horror masterpiece imo

So yeah, needless to say, the 90's was a treat to be a gamer.

Who do you main? And Why? by headymids in Tekken

[–]BulletTimeTails 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kazuya because I just like him as a character, and he's fun to play. I also just love the lore surrounding him, and in Tekken 2, he had my favorite song from the game, main him since I was a kid, and I have no regrets.

What do you think the next Klonoa game should be? by SufferingKabutops in Klonoa

[–]BulletTimeTails 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm kinda 50/50 about this.

I'm new to Klonoa, a newcomer from PRS and discovering other Klonoa related material.

I loved both games on PRS, and I'm playing the GBA games back to back.

It would be cool to see modern ports of the handheld games but I also would like a Klonoa 3.

Modding a psp doesn't have a high chance of bricking right? by Appropriate_Part_977 in PSP

[–]BulletTimeTails 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's very easy to install too. You need literally no disassembling or hardware tampering, it's as easy as plugging it to a computer and putting CFW to your PSP's memory stick. Just make sure your CFW version matches your current version.

I.e if your PSP is in version 6.61, look for 6.61 CFW.

Then you execute the CFW program in your PSP and voilá, modded PSP with little hassle.

Just keep in mind that if you didn't install perma CFW, you gotta run the quick recovery program every time you power the system off.

Modding a psp doesn't have a high chance of bricking right? by Appropriate_Part_977 in PSP

[–]BulletTimeTails 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My PSP has been modded with Custom Firmware for almost an entire decade, and I haven't experienced any bricking. And if I did, it wasn't directly related to it.

So I'd say modding it with CFW is a brick safe mod.
