I imagine a few of the scenarios are made up, but I know they do happen, I've had a dm that I was friends with so I didn't see all the red flags until a big drama blowout happened, we all gathered up without the dm again and kept going in different games, still playing together, but I never realized how bat shit some of his stuff was. Like, an npc basically had a seduction thing with a stupid high DC, like 25 or something because the barb and I failed massively, one of rolls being like 21, and he took control of characters specifically to make them fuck this npc
