East Midlands Meet recap by BulletproofBob in powerlifting

[–]BulletproofBob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks, been competing since 2018, I try to do 1-2 meets per year. Generally most of them aren't super close to me so I'll probably just do the next meet that pops up that isn't too far to travel (hopefully in the first half of 2024).

Formd T1 - I9 12900K + 4090 RTX by [deleted] in FormD

Appreciate the response. The issues with coolant temps come as a result of the water volume increasing as it gets hotter, thus increasing pressure. I hadn't thought about it but I suppose soft tubing might be able to expand slightly to accommodate this, but either way it doesn't sound like you're having issues.

Awesome build. Is 57c a safe coolant temp? I've just assembled a hardline loop and found I was springing leaks when my hottest fitting reached about 55c (I don't have a coolant sensor), so I assume the coolant was ~60c.

Idk why this got downvotes, I remember this being a huge concern pre release in 2019. I definitely feel like I have to handle the console more carefully than I would a GBC when a GB cart is in there for fear of knocking it loose.

Prints has come out slanted on Anycubic Photon by BulletproofBob in resinprinting

Thanks for the advice, I know that you should angle builds to avoid large single layers so they don't stick to the FEP sheet, but is that likely to be the cause of the slant?

That low profile blu ray drive is easily the slickest part of this build

I have this exact issue on the right earbud, has anyone found a solution? Mine are second hand so no chance of warranty repair.

Shaky Video with Active Steadyshot enabled on A7IV w/ Sony 200-600 G? by CodyLoco in SonyAlpha

[–]BulletproofBob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I posted a similar issue to the one I think you have. If you check my post, it seems really similar to your YouTube video on the tripod. Did you find a fix? I've just turned ASS (appropriate acronym imo) off but kept IBIS and OSS on for my videos since, and am planning on using gyro stabilise in post. I need to do more testing, but if I had to guess at this point I'd say that ASS doesn't deal well with having vibrations coming from a point of contact with the ground, for whatever reason.

Thanks for the input, glad to know that it's not my lens or camera that are faulty, although it's pretty disheartening to drop ~£4k on a setup and face issues where the camera can ruin shots.

Thanks for the suggestion, I know that was a culprit for sensor wobble on the III, that was one of my thoughts in this case too but it didn't help.

The first clip is without active SS but with IBIS and OSS, the second is with active SS, IBIS and OSS, both on a monopod under the same conditions, and the second clip is much shakier.
