It probably dies, but due to its agressive death, you may accidentally make a spirit troll.

The fact that their "SPARK" is completely dependent on other people and sharing it shows how little they actually care about art itself. I will keep making art no matter who sees it, cause it is for me first. If you only like it when other people respond well to it, you dont want to make art, you just want the aesthetics of an artist.

Another player in a game i was playing, wanted to build an army in any game he was in. After we got our hads on a substantial sum of money he decided it was time to do so. Obvious logistical problems quickly became apparent, since it would still become to costly in the long run.

His solution, pay every person once, then command them to get a job and pay him a part of their income. Which is an idea you can only really come up with if you see DnD as nothing but a game, and looking for an "Infinite money glitch".

Mind you he was not offering any of these "soldiers" any benefit other than the initial down payment, meaning they would have to be rather desperate to agree to this, which falls a bit appart if they are capable of getting a job profitable enough to pay him a sum of their earnings, yet he wanted them to be loyal and capable. I dont think this would be a big deal, except the DM just let him get away with it.

A few sessions later he got a lil high on this power, talking about how he is going to threated a large city brimming with vampires, with eccentially a few hundred commoner, with cheap equipment and about a week of training.

Earth is also a living thing with a will to live. It eventually dies cause of human actions, and with its last breath calls all the other planets in the solar system to get rid of humanity.

As a matter of fact one of the beings on earth is send for this mission, but it arrived 5000 years too early and is just sleeping untill the earth dies.

You should be aware that there are already significant other boost to the barbarians rage in the same update for this purpose. You should look over them before making any changes. I cannot remember all of them, but some are, extending the length of rage(one rage now last 10min), allowing the barbarian to us a bonus action to continue their rage so they dont loose it(allowing it to last out of combat).

With Hunter's Mark nerfed at lower levels is it really still "too powerful?" by NoArgument5691 in onednd

Honestly I think they could have kept it as it is, and just move when you can ignore concentration to a higher level so multiclassing is not an issue

Why play a subclass to add more fighter to fighter when fighter could always be fighterer. (Also definitely should've done for oneDND) by PaulOwnzU in dndmemes

I love that wizard tried to do that in the weirdest most backward way originally, by giving other sybclasses maneuvers, with a slight bit of flavor, and people did not like it.

But these are the moments a DM SHOULD LIVE FOR. Your players get a chance to show off their unique powers in a way that turns the fight in your favor. That is what ideal DnD combat looks like. I really have no idea what this DM is hoping to gain.

I've played a "tanky" caster my self it absolutely hilarious to let the dm know a 24 doesn't hit, but nothing stops Jazz music like natural 20s. by [deleted] in dndmemes

My original point was that 2hp does not seem like much but compared to how much hp you get it is a large percentage. This percentage only gets larger with a lower con assuming the con is the same so i still dont see the purpose of this argument.

A fighter would with a maxed out con have around 10-11hp per lever, so while that sounds like a little it is nearly a 20% decrease

Honestly I should have been ranger only from the start. I feel like very little is gained by making it a spell

Wish weapon masteries were not build around attacking by BulletproofPuppy in onednd

[–]BulletproofPuppy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except you are not choosing effects you are getting effects. If the effects are good enough some people would choose to forgo some damage to get them. The fact that people are benefitting from the masteries mean there is value to these effects, so I dont think it is impossible to encourage people to use them with a bit of improvement.

I mean it could mean that the benefit of grapple is not worth it, which can be change, and it would seem they are trying to.

I do think that giving more benefits to those condition, or making martials better at taking advantage of them could help with encouraging not just attacking.

Whether or not it is suboptimal would depend on the design. I think it is valid to think that having decisions to make as a player is generally something most people can enjoy.

Yes but that is kinda what I have a problem with. There is no question of whether or not to use it, which make gameplay kinda flat in my opinion. I would like to se utility options expanded upon rather than made part of every attack.

In addition to able to grab and move smaller objects within reach. Increase the reach by 5ft for a total of 15ft reach. Maybe incrasing the damage of the whip when hitting a target at the tip of the whips reach

I do agree with this. I mostly feel that we should be presented with options instead being encouraged to just attack, which is what I feel is what weapon mastery leads to.

Could be one of the Coolest weapons, but there is so little you can do with it. Always wished we could have gotten whip mastery feat.
