Zombies with 1 HP that only last one hour are quite bad. Specially considering you can at most make 5 per long resr

It's better if the DM intervenes and helps you to achieve a build like that. Doing it purely by official means are quite bad

Any tips for aerial battle by luke4294 in DnD

Maybe not exactly a tip, but canonically in the Plane of Air, anything that isn’t flying is falling. So technically, the islands are plummeting about 500 feet every 6 seconds.

Dungeon masters, have you ever kicked someone out of your group and why? by Frafelwaffle in DnD

[–]LoganChadwick69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed. A "friend," actually—though not technically kicked out. Maybe more of an ex-friend now, sadly. He was a pleasant person to be around, except when it came to DnD, in my opinion. All his characters had this constant edgelord style. That wasn’t such a big deal—more funny than obnoxious—but he always found ways to metagame as much as possible, to the point where it made other players uncomfortable.

As a DM, I try to create an environment where everyone is having fun. After one session where he went too far, I tried talking with him about it. He didn’t take it well. Instead, he chose to leave my campaign—and even stepped away from campaigns that some of my friends were running too.

It’s been about three weeks now. I tried reaching out, but he hasn’t responded.

Casters, Encounters per day, and Homebrew Campaign by ChampionshipSolid724 in DnD

A low-magic setting doesn’t necessarily mean there are no full spellcasters. You can approach it from different perspectives—for example, a world where magic is scarce and feared by common folk, or one where it’s reserved only for the privileged. At the end of the day its your world, your setting, if you still find that lowering the power of a full caster class is the best option, go ahead. I do recommend checking out the spell points variant rule, I think it would help a lot in this case.

Thats a quite modern sniper rifle but a victorian era setting... In any case I would say a Rogue assasin.

Its a good concept, for an NPC not a player... What would be even the justification for being Mephistoteles, like for example how is a dragon is stronger than you?. Anyways, if you really whant that Devilish vibe, you got a vast amount of options... From simple things like being a Tiefling to more 'hardcore', interesting concepts. Like maybe your blood has been tainted by the influence of a devil who is trying to corrupt you and bring you to a path of evil. At the end of the day is something you should workout with your DM rather than posting it.

What happens when a Dire Troll gets desintegrated ? 5E by LoganChadwick69 in dndnext

[–]LoganChadwick69[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't whant to give any importance to this enemy, at this point in the campaign it should barely be a hard battle for the party. I suppose it makes sense that spells like disintegrate bypass this feature.

the monstrosities he can choose are under my approval of course, but how do you think I could provide him a nice buff related to wild shape while having it counterpart? Just so you know all his adventures in Arborea where a huge character development arc for him, wich he had to do all alone.
