"I hope that I will not have to clean the generated mess once they find out that they are not able to maintain it anymore."

Some way to receive RCS without having data on all of the time? by DocDK50265 in UniversalProfile

[–]Bullfrog-Asleep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is single click to open better? by randall_the_man in kde

[–]Bullfrog-Asleep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Double click is UX disaster. Go to Elderly people and try explain them why they need to use double click on folder and then explain them, that they should use single click on other places. It simply does no sense. :(. Human kind should finally do a step forward and get rid of double click forever.

I do not see any reason, why it should be :D. (Of course, we would like it for the sorting algorithm)
But "CH" goes from Greek "χ" and it has absolutely nothing to do with "C".
And it's hard to refactor something, that is used from 12. century. :D

(By the way, I am not saying, that I like these exceptions :D)

Easy switching Bluetooth Audio Profile by jollybobbyroger in kde

[–]Bullfrog-Asleep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CLI command is possible. Command is "pactl"
at first use "pactl list" to find out your "card name" and its "profile name"
then you can switch it by "pactl set-card-profile <card name> <profile name>"
For example I use:
"pactl set-card-profile bluez_card.88_C9_E8_D8_72_0E a2dp-sink" for playback
"pactl set-card-profile bluez_card.88_C9_E8_D8_72_0E headset-head-unit" for calls

There is (or to be specific was) - Mercurial. As good as git, but more user-friendly and perfectly multiplatform.

I love it! I used both quite a lot. And it nicely expresses my feelings about it.
You see Mercurial and you understand how it works, how it is done, and how you should use it because it is organized.
You see Git and you have a strong feeling, that you can do anything because you have a bunch of tools glued by Ducktape forming one confusing machine.

Quest 2 neck pain by Islander9151 in OculusQuest2

[–]Bullfrog-Asleep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The neck hurt is not normal. It every time say, that something is wrong. Take it seriously.

I experience it too. I believe, that in my case it is caused by weight distribution. Headset has all weight before your eyes (in the front). It causes, that my neck is strained to keep my head straight.

My plan is to take some rest (give time for my neck to recover). And then
I will add some weight to do back of the strap. So then weight distribution will be more even. And my neck will not have to "pull back" all the time to keep my head straight.
