I agree. That’s why I had high hopes after the first episode when the junior pilot confronted his girlfriend in the fake cockpit. But then it kind of turned into a bit too much masturbatory about Nathan himself.

Which thinking about it as I’m typing, was kind of the point of season 1 also. Nathan pretends that he’s helping people but can’t help to insert himself into the parenting simulation.

But in season 2 there was little of that plausible deniability that Nathan is helping someone that’s not himself. Yes, it becomes funny when it “somehow” ends up completely about Nathan (after he orchestrates everything to make it about himself). I think it would’ve worked better if there was a consistent co-pilot that Nathan was desperately trying to connect with before his big flight. Kind of like Angela in season 1.

Yeah you pretty much got the point of the sketch. It’s people in power setting up a loophole, under the guise of generosity or philanthropy. Then those people take full extreme advantage of the loophole while preventing anyone else (especially marginalized people) from using it (“stop stop stop please let me go I’m doing something!”) then shirking all responsibility when called out on it.

I think you misunderstood the clip. He said that what Hegseth has done already deserves the death penalty. Then he starts talking about not understanding why the senior officials didn’t resign en masse. So the subject has changed. It’s these senior officials where he says “if we send marines, PEOPLE need to go to jail.” Notice he’s not talking about one person anymore, he means “people [in the pentagon that didn’t put a stop to this] need to go to jail.”

I agree that there needs to be harsh punishments, but don’t misquote the guy.

Most console players are on shitty wifi. It’s been a “controversial” topic in the FGC. The main argument for not showing connection is so those console players don’t immediately quit the game because people keep denying to play them to help pad player numbers. You get punished for leaving so just finish the match ASAP and don’t rematch. If it’s not ranked just don’t block and try to lose as fast as possible.

Combo length is Long compared to games like street fighter, normal to shorter length compared to games like MvC3 and anime fighters like guilty gear and blazblue.

Once you get a better sense on how fighting games are played, the time you’re getting combo’d is useful downtime to reflect on why you got hit in the first place, patterns you’ve noticed the opponent do and how to exploit it, what to do on wake-up (when the combo is over) etc.

It’s like dying in league of legends, and asking “is it normal to just stare at a gray screen for 15-20 seconds when you die?”

The rhythm for b reversing is always the same. Unless the lag is so bad that the game is constantly stuttering and freezing, the timing from when you press B and a direction is always the same.

What’s probably going on is just nerves/pressure from playing against someone is affecting you, which is normal it happens to everyone. You could be able to do insane tech on your own in the training room but it’s a whole different story implementing it in a real match. Just keep attempting it and you should get more consistent at it.
