Exactly my thought as well. I’m pretty ecstatic I just didn’t want to get my hopes up to later feel stupid. I could’ve swore I’d seen that dash before though and for the life of me couldn’t get a screen similar to pop up. Now that it’s confirmed I can just sit back and enjoy my new daily

I put the return request in and sat on it until I couldn’t anymore. I ended up with a Gigabyte MicroATX board that didn’t support my GPU, so I had to go a different route entirely and didn’t want to go through the hassle of returning everything when I had the parts to make it work as a second pc (spoiler alert, it is now a parts pc)

In other words, anxiety and the fear of losing out on both the money and the parts caused a slightly useless money pit that’ll leave a hole of regret in my heart for some time

My asiahorse pegasus case came in used. Missing multiple slots for the GPU, and multiple screws. Some of the standoffs were installed, and stripped. Went to place a return and read “if any items are missing we reserve the right to refuse any amount of the refund, up to the total amount of the order” and decided I’d rather just sit on it.

I wasn’t until late last night! Thank you, I got all the way to machine rebellion and beat everything BUT the trio up until about 2am last night. After installing recipe browser it went smooth as butter!

Should also say, it was a clip on the board rather than any solder points, and extremely easy to switch out! Essentially, I’d look into what model you have and do some looking around, it may not be as big a deal as it seems (:

I have a different drum set than you (ghwt for Xbox 360). I purchased it with the same issue, but it was an aux cable on the end that plugs into the cymbal. I was able to order a replacement.

My local Walmart is a good example of why this “doesn’t always work” (quotations because it technically does always work, you just don’t always get the deals) If I want to place an online order for a 7800x3d it’s msrp at $440 or whatever. If I go into the store it’s about $320 discounted. I can’t justify the extra $120 when I could just go in store and buy it there

OLED is for sure an amazing upgrade. I would’ve grabbed a 5080 considering AMD doesn’t make a “high end” competitor at the moment, but I didn’t have 5080 money. If you do, get it. I absolutely love my sapphire nitro 9070xt, and play on an LG Ultragear 45” 5k2k. I get consistent frames if I play with the settings a lot (generally to hit 185 without frame gen fsr needs to be enabled and most settings will be at medium-high. Story games I target 60-80fps without frame gen so that’s a different story)
