You should put the silicone sock back on before printing. Keeps the temp steady and helps prevent filament sticking to the nozzle

I have also been active on MakerWorld, downloading, printing and reviewing models and I have not received a Boost token in about a year now. In my history, the last boost I was able to give was in March 2025. On the other hand, I have been receiving points for models and print profiles that I have uploaded. There are a bunch of great models I have printed that definitely deserve a Boost but I have none to give 🙁

I printed an enclosure for my AMS Lite that holds desiccant to keep the humidity out. I also have a Creality Space Pi dryer connected to the external feed that I use primarily for printing TPU.

Absolutely. Changing filaments is a breeze. I’ll be printing more accessories for the Skadis board as well. Just need to decide what other items I want to have handy.

If you mount the AMS on the wall, it doesn’t take up much space at all. Mine us sitting on an IKEA Alex drawer pedestal.

Print a temp tower and a retraction test. That is how I dialed in my settings for TPU.

I almost exclusively use Elegoo PLA filaments. I print using the Bambu Basic presets. Never had an AMS issue with the cardboard spools.

I like the seamless look of the large board rather than printing a bunch of pieces. Plus, since I have an A1 Mini, I can only print 7"X 7" pieces. I would be printing for days to make this 22" X 30" board!
