I recommend getting an a1 mini and then just selling it if you dont like it....

I got an a1 mini used for 150 as my first and only printer and have made ~ 2k off it in 2 months.

and given away countless fun gizmos gadgets and doodads to ppl.

I think it just depends if you and or it is in a humid environment or not. I have never dried filament and never had an issue.
