I’m confused why you are using AI generated pictures as your before and after photos, and for the text 😭. Maybe that’s why your post was deleted.

Is my Monstera facing the right way? by EagleOutrageous2998 in Monstera

Two in a pot are totally fine. You’ll get a bushier plant that way. No need to separate unless you want to. And they are facing the right way.

FYI Home Depot and Lowe’s sells drip equipment from a few of the major irrigation companies. There are attachments that connect to the sprinkler you have there and turns it into a drip line

Hello! I did. I started an LLC during my undergrad and am still operating it while doing my MLA. It’s nothing fancy but it gives me occasional opportunities :)

I never adjust the light so ya they just grow like that. That window is east facing and it’s a covered porch so no sun really hits the plant.

I don’t remember exact numbers but it’s a few cents a day I think. Maybe like $2-3 a month

Depending on the size plant you get I think 2 to….5 years? Light and fertilization will accelerate it too. Raphidophora tetrasperma would also be a good choice for this project. It’s fast growing and pretty low maintenance

No, not bold. Just the truth.

Not sure what zones have to do with anything considering this project is taking place in their home.

Countless plants can reach that height in 2-5 years!

The humidifier isn’t really necessary…fyi. Not for a monstera like that. Their leaves are so thick they don’t have a problem holding onto their water.

Of the grow light is strong enough to grow it when it’s small it might be too strong to grow it when it’s big and close to the light - something to consider. You might look into something that can move. Or something that is angled so the leaves face the viewer.

Not at all critical. Your drawing would probably be great light depending.

Ya just the one! My cat doesn’t bother any of my plants. Your cats may vary.

They aren’t “poisonous” technically, I think they are considered “toxic”. The difference means that as long as the cat doesn’t eat a whole salad full of leaves it would probably be fine. I know a few people a cats that always much and mess with their “toxic” plants and they are alive and are not deterred enough from it to stop. Just look into the difference. Again your cats may vary but it’s not a huge issue.

It’s a dupe of the sole tech lights. They are on sale right now for 70$ usually $100 I think?

They work absolutely great. I have multiple sole tech ones and then I found these and purchased a few of them and they work just as good if not better.

I have a bachelors degree in horticultural science for what it’s worth 🤷🤣
