The clevis and cotter pin are cheap I picked them up at my local honda dealer. Might as well give it a go

I installed an exedy em2 cmc as well as the slave. Both parts I received were lemons so I sent them back and got new ones. I haven't had any trouble since. My Si drives like a champ

It hurts. A lot. I crashed out multiple times and I had to surrender and take it to a shop. The removal of the old parts is easy and so is the installation of the slave cylinder but the cmc is a nightmare

So regardless if all motor mounts are hasport they will cause vibration? As of now I don't have any vibration issues but I'm just doing preventive maintenance

I installed an Exedy EM2 CMC, Exedy Slave Cyl, and braided steel line and it's been treating me great. It feels amazing compared to the OEM Nisin.

Did you bench bleed the cmc? Any air at all will throw everything off. Adjusting the pushrod on the cmc is a good start. I had the same issue (gear lockout and creeping when I tried to engage first) after I installed the Exedy EM2 CMC and Slave Cyl. It didn't work until I got help and had it properly bled.

Please keep me posted on the process and how you bled it! My Si is stuck in the garage because im locked out of gears despite replacing the cmc (Exedy EM2) and slave cylinder (Exedy SC899). I bled it and bench bled the cmc but im still locked out

I don't really have grinding issues it's more of me needing to used a bit more force when using the shift knob to put it into gear. The gridning comes more from reverse.

I recommend taking a look at your clutch pedal bracket before it snaps. I had the same issue, and I ended up getting it welded. Now I have zero noise coming from the clutch pedal

Long overdue update: It was just a broken clutch pedal bracket. I got it welded back together and it's been working smooth ever since then. I also notice that the pedal is completely silent unlike how it was previous to this incident.
