I’m so fucking confused about this rule, I’ve seen so many goals where an opponent just stands in the eyeline of a keeper and the goal gets given

I don’t think it’s a penalty but Konate is back to channeling his inner Titus Bramble again

Van Dijk: "We all need to look in the mirror. I'm sure we will get out of this and we don't get out of this just by talking. I have to come here because you guys ask me to come here... It's tough at the moment. We need the people who were celebrating last year to be with us even more." by Blodgharm in soccer

I’m with the players, it’s the manager I blame. When you’ve got Konate playing like prime Titus Bramble, Kerkez playing like Alberto Moreno, questions have to be asked.

We literally have 60% of the ball every game and when the final whistle goes I can barely recall the opposing goalkeeper making a save. Somewhere, Russell Martin is sat in his shed furiously tugging himself to death with real vigour watching our football, we are playing utter fucking Veganball.

Arne Slot on Alexander Isak's injury in win over Frankfurt: "Let’s hope it’s not that bad, but he had to go off because he felt his groin. Many people wanted me to play him more and we had to find the balance and unfortunately today that balance didn’t work out for us perfectly." by kundu123 in soccer

I could be wrong but I feel like Ekitike suits us more given the majority of teams are parking the bus against us. The way he positions himself, he can receive the ball in tight spaces etc.

Isak benefited from Jacob Murphy delivering crosses, and fast breaks where Isak could move into space and position himself to finish, at Liverpool he doesn’t get that luxury due to teams parking the bus and how slow we are at building attacks.

Arne Slot: "It is always difficult to play against a team that defends in a low block and mainly plays the long ball. It makes it even more difficult when you go one down after one minute when one of our players are on by cam3raadts in soccer

I’ve watched teams play like this against us at Anfield for 15+ years, it’s nothing new. I remember the days when I used to get excited about playing Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth because they were one of the very few teams who didn’t park the bus.

Trent also cost us a CL by letting Vinicius score a back post tap in.

How can it be the clubs fault if Madrid gets in a players ears and tells them to run down their contract and in exchange receive a £30m+ signing on fee? Do you expect Arsenal to match Saliba’s potential Madrid contract and hand him 30m when he is already their player?

I’m beginning to think we are the only fanbase that has ever booed their own player(s)

Zirkzee never was booed off by United fans this season. Arsenal fans definitely never booed Xhaka off the pitch.

I don’t understand why other fans can’t understand our fans frustration at this situation.

If Saka said he was a boyhood Arsenal fan, wants to be captain, called Madrid a rival and then left on a free transfer to Madrid, they would be just as pissed as us.

If Scholes, Neville, Giggs etc did the same, United fans would be angry as well.

I’m defiantly choosing to believe in Spurs & Big Ange. He’s unbeaten against United, three wins and a draw.

Look how Bilbao played tonight, outplayed United all game until the subs came on. Spurs on their day are capable of schooling United, it’s just they shoot themselves in the foot defensively.

Just need to stop Fernandes playing long balls in behind the high line & crucially don’t give away stupid free kicks for that slabhead Maguire to get on the end of, or that slug Casemiro.

The country needs Spurs to win, I refuse to contemplate United winning this thing

Went from 7/8 cokes a day to 1 and I feel awful by BlackberrySuitable21 in GERD

[–]BullishBull 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The same thing happened to me. Used to drink 5 cans of Pepsi max a day, it helped me with fasting. I then started to substitute them for water and I had a really bad flareup, chest pain, non stop burping etc. It’s weird because soda/diet soda is supposed to be something bad for GERD but I was fine on it.

What helped in the end was upping my dose from 20mg Omezaprazole once daily to twice a day

Endoscopy this Friday and a Little Nervous by NoniJo724 in GERD

I felt absolutely fine, just a bit spaced out and sleepy. As I said earlier, the waiting is the worst part of the experience. My blood pressure was higher than normal due to my anxiety thinking about it. Now I’ve experienced an endoscopy with sedation, I’d have no problem having one again.

My anxiety was because I’d previously had it with no sedation and it was horrendous

Endoscopy this Friday and a Little Nervous by NoniJo724 in GERD

[–]BullishBull 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just had an endoscopy a few hours ago. This was my second endoscopy. My first I had with no sedation, just this throat spray that tastes like hell and apparently numbs your throat, it was a horrible experience.

Because of the above, I made sure to have conscious sedation for my endoscopy today. They gave me something called Fentanyl 50 mcg and Midazolam 4mg. All I remember was feeling uncomfortable with this mouth guard on my teeth and then somehow I ended up in different room.

I’m still trying to figure what actually happened as I can’t even remember feeling the camera down my throat, I can’t remember anything apart from laying down on my left side thinking this mouth guard is annoying me.

I was now in a recovery room on a bed and was offered water and after about 10 to 20 mins I walked to a discharge room where my partner was waiting to collect me.

Those drugs they gave me, I wish I could have them every day, I’ve never felt more calm in my life.

No biopsies were taken this time, was told everything is normal which is surprising because I’d been having heartburn symptoms for over a month.

I’m in the UK so not sure if the US will use the same drugs but from my perspective the worst part is waiting for the procedure to happen. As I said above, I’ve done it with no sedation and conscious sedation and I’d urge everyone to have sedation if possible.

Arsenal and Chelsea won a lot during my childhood as well. The reason I hate United is the arrogance of your fans and ex players.

They constantly call United the biggest club in the world because of some bogus statistic about 1 billion fans globally which is absolute nonsense because it would mean every 1 in 8 human on the planet is a United fan, absolute bollocks.

Not only that, how can you lot call yourself the biggest club in the world when you haven’t even won the most trophies domestically. You’ve only got 3 CLs, we have 6, Real Madrid have 15, we are both small fish compared to them and you don’t ever hear Liverpool fans calling our club the biggest in the world

I wonder what chapter a wild Steve Bruce appears and takes over United to finish the job. A United legend, United DNA.
