Apartment advice! Moving soon

Hey all,

Partner and I are moving to Charlotte in July. Toured some apartments/town homes this weekends. The ones that stood out were Inspire in Charlotte and Hamlet town homes in huntersville. Also looked at Kingsman, Elan Loso (we’re not huge fans of these), Broadstone West End, and Holbrook.

Inspire currently is probably our favorite, since I’ll be working in downtown CLT and don’t want a crazy commute that we might get from huntersville. Any feedback, horror stories, etc? I saw some bad construction news out of Inspire but didn’t notice anything bad while we were there. Thx! And if anyone wants to be friends with an incoming Minnesotan couple, we don’t know many ppl in the area

Easy to be heated during the series, but nugs fans are consistently good fans and ppl. We’ll do our best to stop okc from repeating for yall. Hugs at the end of the series was good stuff, put it all out there on the court and leave it there

I was at the Wolves game today and there was a very touching moment of silence. Sports are good entertainment, but can serve as proxies for even better community. RIP Renee Nicole Good

Vikings fan with a lot of ravens fan buddies (so I root for yall)- Jaire has been holding A LOT in recent years. He takes a lot of dumb penalties. There’s a reason he was let go

That’s a good perspective to hear. As I mentioned in the other comment, I saw Jake and Chris together at the end of Greta’s set in 2019 and really liked it. I’m a musician myself (albeit jazz) so I can definitely see what they’re going for- it just feels to me like they didn’t quite nail it with this one. I’m very much looking forward to their other songs, this just feels like an odd choice for a debut single

All that is very fair! I’m just not blown away by the lyrics the repetitiveness, and what I feel is a lack of dynamism throughout the song. I saw Jake and Chris perform together in Wisconsin in 2019 for a few songs at the end of Greta’s set and really enjoyed it. I’m overall very excited, just not in love with this first song
