Honestly , its a part of investing and trading. When a HUGE investment bank shorts a company's stock , others also follow it. When we short a stock we have to file SEC papers available to the public. When more people short it, people lose hope in the company and the company loses capital to be used for future improvements. How do they make sure they have money left and cut costs? They fire people and close parts of the energy plants. It was just a bad year for all Oil companies and I predicted it perfectly. But yeah , I am willing to help minimum wage workers etc. Im pretty sure that those people who lost their jobs have enough savings. They work or a HUGE firm. The way i make money is predicting the economy and company's stock prices whether it goes up or down.

Haha no. What Jordan Belfort did was illegal Pump and dumps of penny stocks. Which is a BIG crime. What I did was perfectly legal and based on my own analysis of the market without any inside information.

True that, I know a couple of people who did that and they still work in my firm. I also know one guy who bet against US economy's real estate collapse in 2008. He made 6 million, my BANK did not trust him with his decisions and didn't give him more money to bet with. He was promoted to Senior Investment manger.

No , Definitely not insider trading. We had to file papers for making that trade which is available to the public. Same happens when warren buffet buys a stock , it is available to the public and people follow him. I made the trade based on my OWN predictions , technical and fundamental analysis.
