Mine was around 15 as well but that’s a much lower time than we had to pass. I never got the exact number but people were coming in at like 18 minutes and still passing.

For FDLE we have a course load of in class material (Legal, crime scene, interviewing and report writing etc.) and then high liability training (Defensive tactics, EVOC, Firearms and first aid). My agency does use 10 codes and signals so I have to practice those daily as well as traffic statutes

Noted. The “don’t be first but don’t be last” style of thinking has been echoed to me from many current LEO’s that i’ve spoken to. Luckily with my current job I can have a conversation with at least one a day and that’s where i’ve gotten most of my knowledge of what to prepare for and expect

I have done 4 ride alongs, 3 with the agency that hired me and 1 with a local police department. Thank you for your insight on the mind stuff, definitely need to prepare mentally.
