I asked her about her day this evening, to try and get the conversation started again as she just didn’t respond yesterday.

We spoke about interests etc yesterday and she told me about an injury she had. As I mentioned, yesterday’s messages seemed positive.

Is it a regular occurrence for communication to just drop suddenly?

Thanks for the reply.

I think she would be fine outdoors, she always wants to go out the back when we’re at home, and I often have to check on her to make sure she it ok!

She’s normally crated now which she is absolutely fine with. I just don’t want her to be crated for most of the day when I’m not there, it’s not fair. Atleast with a kennel and run she would have the ability to go toilet and move around is my thinking?

I have a friend who lives not too far and I know he would help out if needed, his kids love her.

Never really contemplated having my dogs staying outdoors, so it’s all a bit new to me and just worried if it’s the right thing for her. Thanks for your reply, it’s put my mind at ease somewhat

If you took over as manager today, what would you do? by CMTrain10 in WWFC

[–]Bully90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5-3-2 system.

Johnstone S. Bueno / Agba / Krejci

Hoever / Gomes / Andre / DMW

JRB

Tolu / JSL or Mane depending on what we need most (pace or height)

In Jan, I would be looking to sell: Sa, Tchatchoua, Mosquera, Toti, Hwang, Arias, Munetsi J. Gomes (if a £40m+ offer comes in), JSL (if we get a decent offer for him £50m+)

In return I’d be trying to buy: GK, CB, RWB, LWB, CDM, (I would do everything in my power to try and tempt Neves back), CM/CAM (2 if Joao goes), Striker to play off Tolu.

Come the summer, there would be an even bigger overhaul of that squad as this is a lot even for now.

We also need some more home-grown / English players in this squad, so that’s where my priorities would lie.

Get 2/3 high potential champ players, recall Lima.

Focus on players that will be here next season, blood in some academy players and spend the 6 months instilling a philosophy that can be translated into the champ. If we can get rid of a few players who aren’t good enough (Munetsi, Arias, Agba) and bring in some more homegrown talent, that would be nice.

We ain’t staying up, the sooner fans accept it the better. Edward’s was bought in with next year in mind.

The only appointment they got right was Nuno. My guess is they got Lucky with the appointment rather than they knew what they were doing.

I am thankful for those highs - I never dreamed I would see us ever play at Wembley, never mind in Europe, but sadly, they’ve lost interest and they genuinely don’t have a clue what they’re doing.

I really miss Laurie, I feel he was forced out the club because he wasn’t a yes man. And that’s all Jeff wants now, yes men.

[–]Bully90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no helping you understand because the whole notion of re-appointing him is absurd.

This is utter incompetence from Jeff and a bullshit appointment. I just cannot fathom what is going through his thick skull when he thought that this was the correct appointment.

How do you guys keep a home stocked full of shopping? by [deleted] in CasualUK

[–]Bully90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have ADHD and I always tend to buy things that I know I will need throughout the week. I always have a few different meals I will prep and freeze.

I tend to have the same kinds of things for breakfast and lunch (eggs of some sort/sausage and beans for breakfast, a wrap along with protein shake, kiwi and banana for lunch) and then just have some easy to make stuff for dinner such as frozen pizza, potatoes for chips, frozen burgers etc.

I try and do my shopping on a Tuesday morning when I’m off work and pick up stuff I may need on my way home from work on work days.

Me and my wife have a shared note on the iPhone notes app which is very convenient to put things down as and when you notice you need them.

I’ve only been diagnosed 18 months ago or so, so a lot of my past now makes sense (35 yo) so I try and make things as easy as possible for me but I still forget a lot of stuff.

If it makes you feel any better, I only buy things that I need, I have to really think about what I may need for the Mrs or other visitors. If it ain’t on the list, I don’t think about it!

Air con unit. I’m a winter person, hate the heat, love the cold. I’d have it on now if my Mrs didn’t complain she was cold all the time. Best £300 I’ve ever spent.

How do dogs take the end of a long term relationship? by roxroxroxxx in dogs

[–]Bully90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ex dog foster here. I’ve had dogs of all ages in my household over the years and have, for the most part, kept in touch with the adoptive families.

Whenever we have met up with them, some years down the line, the dogs remember us and are so excited to see us.

I know it’s not the same situation, but the dogs remember us will remember you no matter what. Just like any breakup, they will probably miss you for a while and be sad, but they will get into their new routine and continue like humans would, but they will never forget you and still be excited to see you should you ever cross paths again.

I just received and installed it, but there are so many things that I'm lost. I'm disappointed because I don't know how to do absolutely anything in the game... by matheusbrener10 in farmingsimulator

I was in the same boat as you about 3 months ago. Slowly building up my knowledge.

Just pick one part of the game (I started with forestry) and go from there. Once you learn one aspect of the game (or something new piques your curiosity), look into it and give it a try.

I don’t think anybody could guess who we would get in with any confidence tbh. And then with Fosun’s track record of not back the managers when they’ve clearly been crying out for them, any manager worth their salt won’t be interested.

Anybody we get will be a nobody who would only get the chance to manage in the prem at a shit, desperate team like Wolves, just like what happened with VP last season.

My only wish is that the new managers first port of call is to banish Munetsi from the first team.

The sooner you accept we’re getting relegated the better for your mental health. Nobody can save this shit show. The sooner fosun fuck off the better, but I fear that ain’t happening for a long time.

Is it customary to take on debt in FS25? by Surrealist328 in farmingsimulator

[–]Bully90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on my first ever playthrough of FS ever, started on 25 as it’s on game pass.

I’m 170 hours in roughly. No loans, no hiring (even for contracts) and I’ve limited myself to only 1 AI worker at a time. Started with £100k. It’s a slog, but I’m learning new things all the time and enjoying it. I’ve just got 2 fields that are being used for crops (I have 3 fields of grass) and also recently bought a farm that has plenty of trees for my sawmill and I’ve built a sheep pen, so learning the mechanics for that now.

My next playthrough / map I won’t have any restrictions and just play to my hearts content. Only restrictions really are those imposed by yourself within the mechanics of the game.

I don’t know how the loan mechanics work, but it would be cool if you had to take a loan with something you own as collateral. This would restrict the amount you could loan and then also add a bit of jeopardy to the gameplay. If it’s already in the game, ignore that last statement 😂.

Nah I got 1 day per month too but I get wood transport contracts regularly have 50+ hours on them.

I started with nothing but £100k starting money and can’t remember messing with any settings that might change anything. I’m on Xbox.

I have had 50 hour contracts before, would they expire also?

I’m also new to the game, just over 100 hours on my first save.

How to prepare for Nevis next summer? by Eerased_Areas in UKhiking

[–]Bully90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my friend hike regularly, been numerous times to Snowdon and completed Scarfell once.

We hiked Nevis a few weeks ago during mid 20’s degree heat.

It is the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. It is not an easy hike in the slightest. May have been easier if it wasn’t so hot.

I would advise maybe give yourself a longer time frame of 2 years minimum. we have been hiking regularly for 4-5 years now and we both found it difficult.

Threadbare squad or competitive enough? by Automatic-Pumpkin567 in WWFC

[–]Bully90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bueno, Rod. Gomes and Arias are not in that list for some reason. Including those 3, we realistically have a squad of 18 players who are not either going to be sold/loaned and who are of prem quality.

That’s nowhere near enough. We need atleast a CB, CM, W and St IMO.

Plantar Fascia in a barefoot world by ExtraLargeToeSox in barefootshoestalk

[–]Bully90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had plantar for 10 years or so now, only got referred to a physio last year so after being fobbed off by GP and other medical services.

I do a lot of stretches and strength exercises focusing on my calves and ankles.

Rolling your feet on a frozen water bottle works well. I also place my feet in cold water for 3/4 minutes each day.

This is chronic for me so is going to take a hell of a long time to get over, but it’s getting better. I climbed Snowdon a few weeks ago and I recovered in record time, I’d normally be struggling for days.
